Post up pics of Snakes you see, could be while out on a hike, wheeling, in your yard, or house!

 

Haha yeah it pays to watch your step with some, that's for sure.

 

Some are from close, some are from other areas.

 

If you look closely, there are two of these sidewinders. We caught them in an intimate moment.

 

sub. i like snakes but not spiders! i saw a black snake the other day on a gravel road but never though to get a pic.

 

This little feller decided to come into our office while we had our door unlocked. Luckily the person sitting next to him was at my desk and noticed the guy. He had just eaten probably because he was very mellow.

 

I lost my pictures but i had a 8 foot red tail boa constrictor, when the kid came along the wife said the snake goes

If that was an intimate moment ^ this is a full blown swinger orge fest.

 

I think it was a little rattle snake, it didn't have it's tale but we were told they were in the area. All though now that I was looking for the other types we saw I think it might have been a Gopher Snake. This guy was actually on the coast of North California about 40ft from the ocean. Looked like he slide down the cliff and didn't know where to do next. I almost stepped on him I was about 2 ft away from stepping on him before I saw him and had to take a dive into some rocks to avoid it. We found a couple more on our coastal backpacking trip, A little garter snake or maybe a Striped Racer Snake and a couple regular Racer snakes. Didn't get pictures of those though.

 

that is exactly what that is. It is known as a mating ball. There is one female in there somewhere. The rest are males competing for the opportunity to be the one. They do this every spring. It is the largest gathering of snakes on the planet. The numbers are unreal
