I have called and been to half a dozen dealerships around SFO bay area. None have manuals trans in 4x4, TRD crewcab, short bed. What is happening here? No one buys 6 speed manuals anymore?
There is one dealer that agreed to get one if I bought it at full price( $33,xxx), plus $800 shipping or what ever, TTL+Taxes and no negotiations.

Yup, the manual is hard to find and hard to keep in stock. They don't want to stock them because no one wants them but somehow because of us nuts there's enough people to snatch the few that they get right away.

Also, the Toyota website does not show red color as an option anymore. Do you guys know if they stopped red color in TRD, 4x4, 6 speed, DCSB?

6spds aren't too easy to find. I looked for a month before i found mine and i live on the east coast. People who have em, wanna keep em. Seems like car manufacturers are steering away from manuals. Its sad to say, but many grown adults these days can't even drive a manual transmission. I personally like manuals more than autos, but toyota does make a pretty good auto transmission.

    Things I need to tow.
Just went to Toyota's web site, clicked Shopping Tools and Check Inventory, added a sample zip code for the bay area (94110) and checked the boxes for DCSB with a six-speed manual. The site shows 5 of them in the area, 2 of them are TRD Off Road's and 2 others are TRD Sports. Of course it doesn't tell you which dealer has them, but a little searching on the individual dealer's site should get you there. Or, you could request a contact from Toyota's site. This is how I found my truck a year ago and I then contacted the dealer directly. I ended up flying in and driving it home.

Here is how I see this:
TRD (model 7593A), 4X4, 6 Speed, double cab: $34,129 so give or take a few hundred, the approx total is $37,5xx out of door. Now, this is just stock. To add new lift and tires(outside dealer):~$2000.
    Total: $39,500 (approx).

Order a TRD pro: (7597A): same spec with extras pro feature (3 inch lift), skid plate etc: $37,970
    Total: $41,767 (approx).
The difference is $1700 plus resale value for TRD pro will hold value better in a long run.
I'm going to make a decision by the end of this week...

    Hello team,
Quick help (geez again). What is the difference between base package and TRD (in terms of lift, tires and off road capabilities)? I only see better shocks(which I will change to lift it anyway), perhaps diff locks?

I love my 6-speed, pretty easy to find manuals here because people only drive manuals here automatics are looked down where i am at, plus manuals are so much more fun to drive autos are so plain and boring.

TRD PRO update: Just got back from two dealers. No TRD pros manuals, DCSH will be shipped NorCal EVEN if you order it(no hope as per dealer). There is one scheduled to SoCal and one to Ohio at this time(Mid to late Nov).

it took three tries and 4 months to get my 6sp AC offroad. i can only imagine how much fun a PRO in a 6sp is to order. though, if youre willing to wait.. they can order nearly any combination of options you want.

manuals are a dying breed sadly. even more incentive not to get one.. the final gear ratio of the manual give you worse gas mileage than the auto!

Stevens Creek Toyota had a 2014 TRD Off-Road DCSB 4x4 in MGM color 6spd the Thursday before labor day weekend (8/28). I test drove it before I settled on an auto instead. Not sure if they still have it now but some customer ordered it then decided he couldn't wait and bought one off the lot instead.
