I want to do that with plain matte black on my hood. Same color truck also, so that's cool to see.

Company called crawlorado actually makes these in matte black. I've been running one for awhile.

Well I hope you get better and back to normal.
And as much as it sucks to say it man I would suggest to try to take it easy you have to make sure you heal well to prevent any long term effects.

I should check my tire pressure. I run 235 85 R16 general grabber AT2's. The chalk test said 29 in front 32 in back. Another thing I noticed was they didn't even put the center hub cap thing on.

Sad to see it go but at least you sent it off with some very nice wheels/tires. Did you find those lying on the side of the road?

FWIW I just checked the website and I think the current dimensions are the same, it just looks different in isu2014's pic because of the rock/bug shield. Looks good

Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
Yep that was pretty much my reaction when I realized just how much damage there was to the frame.
Sure is! Actually I've been thinking a lot on what to get to replace the Tacoma. Thought about building my 3rd gen 4runner up, but theres just not enough room for us, our dogs, and all our camp gear for trips with it. So I'll be selling that after I use it to design a full armor line for the 3rd gens and turning that money into a new trail rig... Tacoma obviously appeals but resale on them is retarded around here. Like $6k for a stock and well used 96 with 250k on it. So Tacoma is probably out... instead I'm seeing 1st gen Tundras going for less than $4k with 150k miles on the clock and in cherry condition. That I can swallow. So since the 1st gen Tundra is a bit roomier(though only about 1.5" bigger than a 2nd gen Tacoma) and has a v8 to boot it seems like the obvious progression for me to step to. And I like the fact that there are really no built Tundras out on the trails, I like having a unique rig. Stay tuned!
Actually the rear will be sold, front went with the truck. Not that much damage to it but insurance paid me a little for it and I didnt want to mess with fixing and reselling it for minimal gain.
Definitely sad to think it wont be on the trails any more! :(
    I need some too
lol, yeah thought about it a little, but they gave me like $100 for them and were pretty scraped up so I left them on. Kind of too much hassle IMO.
I've been trying to but its certainly hard to.
    :oldglory:
hahaha right! One of the guys that works at my shop has a ton of old cars/trucks so he just dug some rollers out of the corner of his yard. None matched. :p
    That they will
we can always build ya a new set!

If I were to do it all over again, most of me would want to get into an access cab 1st gen Tundra.

The V8 would crush my wallet at the pump though.

That's what I said too until the vinyl shop said $150 for what you just described.
Maybe it's cheaper where you live but that material is what's expensive.

Interesting. Crawlorado doesn't have the hood black out for the 95.5-00?

Is there any difference in hood shape on the portion that is covered? Obviously the front edge of the hood varies.
