It has to be the bedsides unless you tweaked the frame or the leafs somehow poped out of position on the axle... but that's virutally unpossible.

Wonder if mine just got twisted/shifted when installing the leaf packs.

Well in theory the centering pins would prevent that from happening

Would be really hard to fuck that up. The leaf have a centering pin and the perches have an alignment hole

Did you tighten all of the leaf hardware while on jack stands, or on the ground, under its own weight?

I have seen them be off plenty of times, from a new leaf installation. I have also seen my own truck have a wheel stick out to one side, after parking directly after taking a turn. Soft ass three leaf pack......

    THIS! :pout:

I do need to still re-torque everything. May try that tonight.

I like em. yeah everything was stock prior. I should have done before and after Dyno runs to see the actual numbers. they feel like they gave me a little more top end.. or its the headers in combination with the new piping.

If you did it on jack stands, then loosen the hardware with the truck as is. Then re-torque it. That applies to the leaf springs. I always tighten my u-bolts with the suspension hanging.

That way if anything was in a bind, if will free it up.

got ya. ill do that tonight. i wont jack up anything, ill just re-torque it all.

I ran home on my hour lunch and tried adjusting my driver side coilover for the lean. its not budging... and i dont want to jump a thread again. so i took everything apart real quick, threw on a 1/4" top plate, and buttoned it all back up, and made it back to work in time. fastest ive done it yet. lol

now.. this is just temporary unless im ok leaving it in there. I just wanted to see how the ride would be with adding more preload to that side. havent measured yet.. but till today after work at the gas station.

also.. the rear end is "bouncy" like if i didnt have any rear shocks. i come to a stop and it bounces a little. is that the new leaf pack still "new"? or is it because i have a tire and my old leaf springs back there..

Just to be doubly clear. Make sure to loosen first. Then re-torque.

so the top plate didnt do shit. im starting to think there is something else going on.. I swapped coils on my OME's.. nothing. added top plates.. nothing. bought all new suspension components.. Kings front and rear, Toytec 2" leafpack (comparable to the Dakars but only 2" of lift vs 3").. had the same taco lean..a noticeable full inch.. atleast! came home and put the top plate in on the driver side.. just went to the gas station to measure it.. yup. still a full inch lower on the driver side.. so the extra cranks i did on the driver, plus the top plate.. did nothing??

not to mention the trucks drives like crap.. ill chalk that up to needing an alignment.. so ill hold off for now.. but as of now.. it clunks, is stiff, the rear end feels like crap. doesnt absorb crap. intersections are terrible and the rear bucks like crazy.. plus.. when i come to a stop.. it either rocks back and forth, or bounces up an down as if i i didnt have shocks at all.. that is new and i have no idea what thats about.. the truck in general is just pissing me off.. giving it till next week to let things settle more, and get my alignment.. if not.. there will be lots of parts and other shit for sale...

^^ not happy.. i just cant catch a break. i take one step forward and 3 steps back everytime..

You should just take all of the new parts off and give them to me. You can have my stock suspension. Problem solved.
