That sucks to hear. I had the opposite happen at a fancy hotel a few weeks ago. They put mine in the front instead of the back with all the Audis and Mercedes.

You did the tight thing BTW. Talking to managers and calling corporate is how you get results. Punching some low life isn't going to get you anywhere.

Too much win. Sounds like you handled that perfectly. Kudos to you for not beating him the fuck down.

Ok so yes, 22" straps eye to eye. Plus the adjustable clevis adds about 3".
As a refresher the lower part of the strap is mounted to the lower shock mount and the upper part of the strap is mounted to a crossmember I added. YRMV.

I have a crossmember in a similar location. I have a week left to get my rear done so I figure I should be similar enough I could make that work for the time being. Rather have to be creative with mounting than have no straps first time out.

    Thanks for the help.

Yeah I couldn't be happier with it. It's beefy as shit, and it didn't pull at all during the welding process.

Flat black hood = no glare
I have absolutely no whistling. From time to time depending on cross wind you can hear it dragging, but no whistling.

Yep. About an hour ago I watched a valet driver almost decapitate a huge lifted Ford truck by driving it into a parking garage. Flew in there and then slammed on the brakes at the last second realizing it wouldn't fit. Then his solution was to floor it in reverse and fly back out into the road backwards almost running into me.

I would just get a quality bar on bumper and no retros. With LT they are bound to fail

Not a thread jack. I had Hella 700's at one point that I retrofitted, and Juan is right. They don't last with desert trucks. Between the bulb coming lose (even with JB weld), difficult finding a good spot for the ballast, bulbs burning out...I gave up and bought actual HID driving lights.

    Thanks for the invite.
All of those are 6+ hour drive from my house so I gotta be super motivated for that kind of trip.
