Hey guys I'm new to tw. I've been trying to do alot of research on buying new wheels and tires. Right now I'm going to get some ultra maverick 17 inch wheels with 265/70/17 duratracs. My question is how big of a deal will it be to change out the tpms sensors with this wheel? Also I was wondering if anyone has had any wheel bearing issues when switching to a 4.5 inch backspacing. Thanks guys!

    shouldn't be any problem.

i had steel wheels stock so i had to buy all new tpms sensors to work with alloy wheels which sucked. $400 total for 4 sensors.

If I was to do the same, do you have to install sensors? I don't care if I have to check the tires by hand.

It's easy to reuse the ones you have. Just have the tires pulled off the wheels, unscrew the valve stem with the TPMS attached, put them on your new wheels. I bought rebuild kits for them, replaces the rest of the valve stem with new seals. Think I got them from discount tires. Saves a lot of money and you don't have to have the truck relearn the new sensors.
