What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Lights look amazing! Any plans for incorporating the blue into the headlights?
Side question, what's covering your front plate? Is it a reflection making it seem dark? My plate is bright white I've been looking for something to tone it down.

 

The brand of tires make a big difference so try them on and go from there, if they are gnarly at or mt's they'll grab stuff but a smooth sidewall may not. Let alone a 285/75 is a different actual size in brand and again tread type. I may get a poop storm for this comment but its been proven to me multiple times over.

 

Looks like a tinted plate cover. You can get them at any parts store.

Thanks for the praise guys. I'm sure there is a write up somewhere around. I'm not the first to do this project. I did a quick search and didn't find any real info, so I just went and did it. I'll try and do a little mini write up later, I didn't take very many pics while I was doing the lights, but I'll pass on what I learned.

Picked up some pretty much new OEM steps off a 2013 from craigslist Installing sometime today or tomorrow.

Eventually going to do a retrofit with blue demon eyes and blue projector shrouds, the rest black. 6000k HIDS and LEDs all around.

Just received my wet okoles for the front seats. I'm airing them out and reading/psyching up for the install, hopefully next week. Will post pics after install.

 

Install really isn't bad at all. I expected it to be much harder.

Are those Alpine? Some came on my access cab when I bought it, but not sure if they're oem or not... Would like to clean then up, paint them and find em a new home

 

Taking the seats out of the truck make it much easier and quicker.

 

I'm not exactly sure. There is no writing on them anywhere. He said they were OEM though. Came off a 2013 Texas Edition 4x4
