Okay, ill let the pics speak for themselves.....

If you cannot tell that would be HARDCORE MOLD!!!!! ive had sort of the same problem like a month or so after i bought the truck 2 years ago. It had a badd musty smell so i felt the carpet and it was soaked. well i pulled it up and shot it down with clorox to kill the mold, then put alot of baking soda to keep it away. The truck has always stunk like that since ive bought it and its gotten alot worse the past month or so. so today i felt the carpet and you could just ring it out it was sooooo wet. i pulled it up and found more mold that you could grow in a lifetime......BTW im veryy allergic to mold lol so what do i do. this is my daily driver so i kinda need it. i guess its been leaking??? but where??

Double check all seals it could've come from and stripping for the windows on the doors and get the carpet replaced.

Where is the source of water? AC leaking into cab? Sprinkler spraying water through open window? Whatever it is, you need to fix the water leak. I'd bet AC leak this time of year. Easy fix, just blast some compressed air into drain tube. (I think you can get to it from passenger side, under hood) Then put this on your annual maintenance list, just after winter or so.

    stock, for now
thats some crazy mold!!! DANG! Take the carpet out and let it dry out. Meanwhile, have someone hold a hose on the truck in various spots and see if you can find out where its leaking. Judging by the way the mold is, start around the windshiled/firewall

Has the windshield ever been replaced? Could be a leak there. Could be body sealer missing, or a plug. You need to take that carpet OUT of the truck--it is probably toast. Once the carpet is out, then clean up the mold, and you're going to need to Lysol the A/C system to kill the spores in there.

Once it's clean, then it's time to have someone spray water at the truck with you inside until you find the leak.

yes, if it's all the way up to the gas pedal I'd check all rubber gaskets and stuff that come through the firewall.
That could be your problem, bad tarring job or whatever they do these days.

Just courious, how does it keep getting wet? In my job we deal a LOT with mold (ok not in trucks but in homes) and the first thing to do is eliminate the source! You can kill it over and over again but if the source is still there it will just come back, and sometimes stronger! The good thing is that it doesnt look like black mold! Take a day or two and use a very stronge bleach solution! spray it down and let it sit for an hour or two, wipe it up (if you are allergic, wear a mask or atleast try not to breathe when doing this). Repeat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one clean WILL NOT kill it!!!! baking powder was a good attempt but you need to keep it dry!!! Not try to soak up the water! All it is going to do is soak up the water and then stay there..... eventually turning into mold! Find out why it getting wet and stop it! I really hope you get this solved! As for the smell, your truck my need to air out ALOT after the many bleach cycles but at least it wont smell like mold!!!!!!!!!! Good luck and let us know how it goes!

  that's nasty.... hope you find the cause and get it fixed.

Before you put that carpet back down, you need to move those wires running over your floor boards. They will eventually rub through the coating and short out. Extend them so they go around where you put your feet...

Definitely start near any weather stripping and anything that could leak into the driver's "box".

UPDATE....... rained last night and i checked the floor this morning, it was a little damp. so i think the wetness is coming from both, a/c condensation and rain? heck idk just a guess....but still sits torn all to pieces....smells so bad you can smell it 5ft away with the doors closed, im guessing i stirred the smell up yesterday when i pulled the carpet back. and again i am VERY allergic to mold so that truck is kind of a death trap rite now lol
