Awful. Happens everyday though. Something similar happened to my wife.

My wife was followed by a crazy guy in a Red Dodge Dakota all the way from Columbus GA to Opelika AL. He apparently thought my wife cut him off. She merged over with plenty of room to spare. She said he floored it to try and close the gap. He didn't like it and literally chased her all the way. It's about a 16 mile trip give or take. He would pass her and slam on brakes. She said his rear end hopped he hit the brakes so hard a couple of times. This is a split highway so at a turn around she made a u-turn to evade him. This crazy asshole was caught off guard and slid through the median trying to turn around to chase her. At this point she was frightened and called me. She lost the guy and continued to Opelika. Then the asshole showed back up in her rear view blowing his horn. I was on the phone with her at this point and told her to come straight to my office because if she went to the police station he would figure it out and take off. My plan was to call the police and have them waiting in the office parking lot when she arrived. Anyway we got lucky because she happened to get behind a trooper.
My wife honked and flashed her lights at the trooper and he pulled off into a parking lot. She explained to him that the man in the Red Dodge at the light had chased her all the way from Columbus, honking and trying to run her off the road and he took the hell off after him.

Obviously the trooper didn't witness any of it so its all he said she said. We are shopping for a dash cam now. I would have loved to see this shit go down, take it to the police station and get this damn lunatic off the road. He had a firefighter tag which is even more scary. I wonder if he goes bat shit crazy on the job?....

Hopefully something like this won't ever happen again but if it does she is to call 911 immediately. They would have been on the guy like white on rice in a matter of minutes and this lunatic wouldn't have been chasing her, endangering her life and everybody else on the road. If I find out which department he works for the chief is going to know about it.

 

2 years ago when I was back home in Tampa some crazy dude stopped and got out of his car at the corner of Bullard Parkway and Sunnyside Rd(Temple Terrace) and approached my vehicle.

I told the guy he needed to get back in his car to avoid some nasty pain and he kept coming so I unloaded my Taser into his chest.

TT police show up as I guess several people called 911 about a guy acting stupid long before my encounter with him matching his vehicle description.

 

People like this is why I have D cell maglights tucked between my seat and the center consul in both my trucks....well that and the fact I live in a state that doesn't allow self defense by any other means

Yea, I know a guy who moved there a few years ago. I like cold weather and snow. Heat is not for me. If anything I'd move to PA. It's 10 miles from my current house and they allow CC and defense.

When I go on vacation shooting (with my guns) I don't feel safe driving until I'm out of my own state. I B-Line it for the boarder ASAP. Pretty freaking sad.

790.01 Carrying concealed weapons.—(1) Except as provided in subsection (4), a person who carries a concealed weapon or electric weapon or device on or about his or her person commits a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
(2) A person who carries a concealed firearm on or about his or her person commits a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.
(3) This section does not apply to a person licensed to carry a concealed weapon or a concealed firearm pursuant to the provisions of s. 790.06.
(4) It is not a violation of this section for a person to carry for purposes of lawful self-defense, in a concealed manner:
(a) A self-defense chemical spray.
(b) A nonlethal stun gun or dart-firing stun gun or other nonlethal electric weapon or device that is designed solely for defensive purposes.
(5) This section does not preclude any prosecution for the use of an electric weapon or device, a dart-firing stun gun, or a self-defense chemical spray during the commission of any criminal offense under s. 790.07, s. 790.10, s. 790.23, or s. 790.235, or for any other criminal offense.

Idk if its just me, but I meet/come across more assholes on/near the base compared to on other places on Oahu. I was just at that shopping center last weekend and went to get a coffee and then walked to where my brother was eating and then had to cross the parking lot to walk to mcdonalds and some guy came flying into the parking lot and literally didn't slow down as I walked across and blared his horn. Just after that, we were leaving the parking lot and turning to go towards nimitz and some dude who was in the left turn lane took a right to cut us off.
I remember growing up going to nex and the commissary, back when it was in the old complex, and I always remember rude people there. It doesn't surprise me that this lady is military.

Wow I can't believe this video has gotten so far. A friend of a friend posted this on Facebook and was the one who recorded it. Crazy lady. Really felt sorry for the kid.
