Went to a nice dinner tonight, and my lovely Wife mentioned she wanted to do some shopping, and had a coupon for 15% off at some cooking........plate selling place. SO......."Sure, Hon.....Im down with that.". We go to Sur La Table (Pronounced Sir-LA-Table to me), and we see a set of flatware she likes. 49.99. Not bad.....+15% off, Ok.....lets do this. Lady comes up, and that's the FUCKING PRICE PER SET! SO.....For a set of 4 fuckers that want to eat at my house, that would be 200 bucks, plus tax, minus 15 bullshit percent. I looked at her, smiled and said:

    FUCK

    THAT

    !!!

WHEN did a piece of fucking steel used to put grub in your mouth become so fucking expensive?

My wife likes to come home with shit she will wear once, maybe. And candles and other garbage from Bed Bath and Beyond. Before I even say anything she says, "I saved $50." She thinks that justifies it. I tell her, "Yeah but you had to spend $200 to get $50 off. So really you spent $150 more than you should have."

    Women logic.

In your wifes defense.... Look at the bs we buy for our trucks. Mine has never said a word about it. If they wanna buy something that seems silly to us, let them, just remember the 800 bumper you just bought.

Anything I get for the Jeep or my trucks has a valid use. 200 bucks for a tool to put grub in my mouth? F THAT! When I was single, I don't think I bought silverware my entire life. Go to taco Bell, order food, when getting condiments, grab utensils. Done.

Women would buy a water buffalo for $4000 if you told them it was originally $5000 and they would think of it as saving (earning) $1000.

Nevermind you didn't need a water buffalo.

They also assign value according to price, so if you ever want to get rich make something, market it to women, and charge 10 times too much for it.

    gotta run, here she comes

    http://www.surlatable.com/product/PRO-1650563/Fortessa+Dragonfly+Flatware+Set
This stunning flatware set is designed to mimic the slender lines and graceful curves of a dragonfly in flight . Small and delicate, yet sturdy enough for everyday use, this modern-minded flatware turns every meal into an occasion. Five-piece set includes salad and dinner forks, large and small spoons, and a butter knife.

Designed to mimic the slender lines and graceful curves of a dragonfly in flight. Come on you eat with them. What is is up the spoons. Thank god my wife would asy fuck that right along with me. But she has that closet full of stuff she has put on once ugh

But I'm weird and find thing like jewelry, tons of shoes, perfume, expensive weddings, yada yada, a waste of money.

I always figured it was cheaper to just go to work. I come home a couple hundred ahead and the most I can spend there is 20 bucks for lunch.
