This is true. You had to go onto flickr to discover that but you missed a key point.

haha, no! Well maybe a little but that isn't intentional.

Actually, it was a trick question. There are many differences. The exposure is a little different too which throws off other stuff. The EXIF data did show the difference but you had to look closely at the lens ID number.

I can't pick up on any of this stuff you guys are talking about.. I didn't even notice the colour was off until I read what Monte said.. My photography skills are not up to par!

Correct. In the second group 8001 is the 10-22 and 8003 is the 10-18. Both were set to 10 mm.

Both shots were taken with Aperture priority at F9 but the 10-22 is at 125/sec and the 10-18 is at 160/sec. The 10-18 is a little slower meaning it takes a bit more light to get the same exposure. Everything else seems pretty close.

Over all, they are quite close. Impressive for a lens that costs half as much.

 

Haha just takes practice. Hell I have only been doing it a year.

The only real question in my mind would be about durability. We are not exactly gentle on our lenses are we.

 

The only camera I have is my phone, I have a Galaxy S5, which has a pretty decent camera with lots of functions believe it or not! It's not nearly as good or expensive as the equipment you use.

But I've cracked the screen twice and that's why I cant have nice things
