Florida B.S. Thread

I was able to use my hi lift jack this evening to try to do some body work on the church van. It helped a bit, but not perfect. Apparently someone hit a tree. The lady I was helping had already hooked a chain to it and pulled it. The bumper was rubbing and cutting the tire. I helped raise it and it brought it back in a bit.

 

Nice now paint it and get it put on already

 

Hey simon, did you have problems putting your bumper on with the factory tow point on the front left, it's just barely in the way to put my bumper on

 

Had to cut mine off

 

I'm pretty sure you have to cut it off

 

Ya I just asked eddy, gonna run to Lowes and pick up an angle grinder to install the bumper tonight

 

stuck my truck in some sugar sand that was pretty deep lmao. I got out and my hitch was sitting a inch in the sand. Thanks to a good guy with a 4x4 for stopping and helping me

 

Gotta hack it off it doesn't work with it on.

 

Same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. It was bad, thank goodness I had a shovel and saw. Dug out the whole back end of my truck and the opposite tire and cut bunch of small trees and shoved under the tires and the other tires I shoved my front weather techs under.
Worked like a charm just took like an hour lol

 

well as much as I wanted to get the bumper on tonight, I ended up running out of time since the aluminum crash bar decided to be a pain to get off and I didnt realize that factory tow point was supposed to be cut off. Ended up going to Lowes and picking up a Porter Cable 4.5" Angle Grinder, 2 20v batteries and a charger for $155. not bad considering everything was on clearance and I ended up getting 2 batteries for $67 when a single 20v battery usually goes for $67

 

That oughta do the trick
