I'm probably going to replace the brake lines. One of the banjo fittings won't quit leaking.

haha thanks, they are pretty tattered though.

Also, anybody have experience with these thermostats? Yota keeps wanting to run warm, so I'm replacing the thermostat, washing the radiator out, and replacing the thermostat.

Oh boy! Get ready for a LOUD cab. Speaking from experience, I ran my in-cab snorkel for 2 days and had to change it up because it was so loud. Good luck and wear earplugs and don't plan on any conversations with passengers. Other than that its a sweet location for the intake.

Will do, once I get around to finishing it in a few weeks :anonymous:

Jon (45ACP) was saying it shouldn't be too loud, I will leave the deck plate open all the time except for :mudding: Hopefully that will keep the noise down, if it does drive me crazy, I will just shove a rag from the intake side into the snorkel pipe. (Kinda like the picture shows.)

    Thanks for the advice everyone!

I tried the rag trick. Didn't make one bit of difference. Maybe the wussy 4cyl is a lot quieter :stirthepot: than my V6 but I considered 45acp's advice too when he said it wasn't too loud. Sure was on my truck.

Don't worry same thing happened with me there except I took it in 3 times had two cross threaded lugs that broke when I took them off went back to get it balanced which they said it was perfectly balanced.(blamed it on the tie rods which are brand new ) So I didn't wanna waste more time and went to jension tire and had them balance them except the front driver side had another cross threaded lug.

What if for ordinary daily driving you opened your deck plate mode and had a means of closing the internal snorkel? Like a plug.

    Km2s.

    Better for a dd

MTRs are better for a dedicated offroader
