I finally had time to install a Wheelskin I ordered a few weeks back. I used 2 needles and thread to do a baseball stitch.

This is the second Wheelskin I have installed. It makes the driving so much nicer. The install took two and a half hours.

This really is a superior product that makes driving less of a chore.

Slowly but surely my Plane Jane Taco is turning into a lady.

I had a wheel skin on my 91 Corolla. I loved it. Made driving so much nicer, specially in winter and summer. Winter the wheel wasn't as cold and summer my hands when sweaty really gripped the wheel.

Don't need it with the TRD package, already has a leather wheel.

My Tacoma is a stripped down unit. The only extra was door sill protectors but I think they may be standard. I did purchase an access cab. However the base unit comes with power windows and power door locks which made the alarm/ keyless entry a lot more affordable.

Take your time and the finished product will look pretty good. It will look better after 3 to 4 months of use.

The Wheelskin on my Sonoma was about 3 years old and still looked great.

What size did you get? I ordered a AXX for my 09 and it doesn't fit. Then they sent me another one that has special ordered on the box 15" x 3 7/8" and that wont fit. Both covers are so hard to get on the steering wheel and when you do the ends will not meet together. The first one I installed showed a lot of string so I left it on until the new one came. When I took it back off to install the new one that diden't fit it made a indentations on my leather factory steering wheel. I sure hope that will come out.
    Any advise?

I called and the lady took my information over the phone. the fit was right on. When you install the wheelskin it should be tight and really hard to move around the wheel. This is before lacing it on to the wheel.

I do have a question, Why did you order the Wheelskin if you already have a leather wheel?

Interesting... I might keep this option open as my leather trd wheel is cracked to hell and Toyota won't fix it (which still pisses me off). Though, I'd still kinda prefer to get it redone in leather again... that's not 0.003microns thick this time.

I like that black and red... nice sport touch to it.

Toyota had to replace my leather wheel because I had my keys in my hand once and grabbed the steering wheel and cut it. I don't want this to happen again.

I have been e-mailing a Carol at Wheelskins.

    Lots baby!
In my case, I had scarred my factory leather wheel. Second, it matched my interior nicely.
