Shouldn't have been on Daniel in the first place. Made it up the ledge with my winch. On the switchback I was number 2 in the line. I got stuck and lost sight of the leader. Rocking it back and forth to get unstuck the rear diff let loose. Winched and tried to keep going but it was hopeless. Ended up snapping a winch line. Ended up having to drop the rear driveshaft and get pulled back down the trail at night, half of it in reverse. Some really good spotting, winches and clever snatchblock work got us all out of there.

Just paid $200 to get towed to ECGS. I'm camping here till they can fix it. I'll probably regear the rear for now and stay outta 4wd until I can do the front too. Might be a while. Life's kicking my ass at the moment.
