Don't know, AOAA rules sound boring, but I guess they are just as boring as Rausch Creek as well. How are the actual AOAA trails anyway?

We mainly wheeled the Whaleback side and camped out near there as well. Woke up to AOAA tresspassing signs everywhere. Where is this Reading Anthracite at? Sounds interesting.

Hey guys , hows it going . Im moving back to York next June , i have family that live there . But I have some questions on laws there . When I was a kid growing up there I remember PA was strict on safety with car inspections every year . So When I move there do I have to have mud flaps on my truck . I have a 1.5 lift in back and 2.5 front . And I carry a gun in my truck , can you carry in your vehicle in PA ?

I guess it would depend on the size and what style trailer you have.

BUT either way I wouldn't suggest it

For the gun, if you have a ltcf (ccw) you can carry a loaded pistol. Can't carry a loaded rifle or shotgun at all.

Anyone with a 1st gen interested in a used torzatop tri-fold tonneau cover? It's for the 6' bed. Probably almost 10 years old, I think I bought it pretty soon after getting the truck. Still works fine, the weather seal needs to be replaced and the fabric is showing some wear. $50? :notsure:

Well I probably won't be going to AOAA if we were already wheeling the fun side. Not sure I would pay to get in that side either. It's a fun place to go but haven't found to many challenging trails. It's a good place to get muddy though. I like that it's free, you can wheel whenever you want, camp wherever, do some shooting in certain spots.

Isn't AOAA taking over the "fun side" eventually?

How far are you going with it, if your going a short distance it might be fine.

Try to keep some of the weight off the tongue and more on the trailer axle. Then all you should have to worry about is slowing down

No it was the front skid I just made... Sliders will be good for hopping berms at the whaleback. :) There is quite a nice rock garden there though.

I'm just saying I think what makes the whaleback the most fun is that there are no rules and do what you want. However I am starting to like rocks more than mud, less clean up afterwards.

Unloaded and ammo out of reach. Both can't be in the same spot. You shouldn't have any issues getting your ccw in York. Got mine no problem and they never contacted any references.

BTW I'm 15 north of York just off 83

Yea i just may have to go CCW way . Here in AZ we have the most gun friendly laws in the country next to Maine . Here in AZ we dont need a CCW even if its in under your shirt loaded or in your car loaded within reach .
