this. I tried KM2s. Wasn't happy with how much pavement driving I did with them and how they handled rain in the Desert SW. I went back to BFG ATs and going to try Duratracs next.

I unloaded the KM2s within days of posting them up for sale.

huh. Odd Lauren and jace. I do agree they wear a bit fast but I thought the grip the mtrs have is much better then the km2s. By quite a bit. Not that the km2s are slouching. But I think the mtrs do better. That said. I wouldn't run them on my dd.

99 SR5 taco....added on fender flares which were purchased used. After sanding, painting, and replacing the rubber trim they look great. What a difference it made! Also the wax job and treating all the plastic trim didn't hurt either :)

Those flares come off a 01-04 doublecab?

    Aggrevating.

Trying to figure out where to mount my spare. I hate having it under the bed as its a perfect spot to collect mud, salt, water, etc. Plus, once I get 33's, I'll need a new place to put it.

Was thinking about a bed rack but I just bought a new snowthrower and I do haul enough tall things that a bed rack wouldn't work.

Thought about an SOS bed bar/tire carrier but I also haul enough long things like plywood and drywall so that won't work. Same reasoning holds true with a tailgate/bumper carrier.

I suppose I could get an upright carrier and mount it along the side of the bed behind the wheelwell but I haven't seen many that look sturdy enough.

While that would be cool, I'm told it creates very noticeable drag including pushing you around on the road.

I wouldn't fit in my garage. With 30" tires, my 4' CB antenna mounted to the bumper has less than 1" of clearance. Adding 14" to the roof of the cab would be too high.

What does it matter if your antenna is about to hit? They bend for a reason ;)

I have a similar challenge with my spare. Eventually I might put an aux fuel tank where my spare is now. I don't want to carry my spare on the roof. I don't want to pay for an off road bumper with swing out. I haven't tried it yet but I think it might fit in front of the wheel well in the bed. I'll figure out some way of securing it.
