ur shackle flipped & extended?


I have one somewhere to.

is your shackle eye inline with the cross member bolt? (looks like it) Just trying to see if I can reference it to mine.

They are different widths. Sure you "can", but I didn't. All you have to do is swap the sleeves from the leaf to the shackle so you get a tight fit on the flip kit. I then added a 316 stainless 2" diameter washer. You can see it here on the left of the ATO bracket. Swapping sleeves actually works out perfectly for both. I have more washers to....

 

If it's not raining I'm game.

Since the states around here spread so much salt on the road and fudge our trucks up, I think they should have to spray the roads with pb blaster to make up for all the salt.....

Why you messing with body bolts? You doing a body lift?

 

No I was going to take the bed off to box the rear frame, but there's just not enough time or motivation to do it today

 

Looking to sell the unused half of the new bed rack I got. Offering it up to you local DBs first. It sits on top of the bed rails and can either be bolted to the bed rail or clamped down with a tonneau or cap. Should work with either a 2nd gen or 1st gen. Oh.. in that case don't feel bad. My bed bolts have been seized for years. One darn bolt stopped me from taking mine off.

 

Front passenger side was the only one that wouldn't come off... From the looks of the other ones it appears they put blue loctite on them or something

I'm filing a complaint with management this is horseshit!!!!!

 

Ive tried all the impacts at Ant's, my buddy's, and a big rig maintenance shop. Nada. I drilled a hole in the washer so I could BP it and still NADA. Next is heat, but my beds combustible so that may be bad.

 

I think I can get to the top nut I just have to remove the plastic fender lining... I did get my hand up there and it felt like they used a square nut so I guess a 12 point wrench would work

 

I have found on frozen toyota bolts try to tighten it a little to get it to move and then back it off. Works for most of the time.
