we can conclude that I high marked his ass in 2wd with a open rear diff. and he wanted to stay 100% Toyota with his build ha.

I found that if I use a good primer and paint then put a third coat of some duplicolor bed liner over it that it doesn't and last a long time in problem areas like the wheel wells and what not.

We knocked it out but the truck was fighting us today. Regardless, another successful venture for Black Pipe Fab & TOYWERX.

 

The real culprit

 

They tried to market them but the fabricator guy had some equipment issues and it didn't work out.

IIRC correctly they were a solid mount so you have to jave heimed uppers so you can still align it.

The general concensus in the LT thread was that you should just run a bead behind the cam tabs. That it would work almost as well as the TC cam tabs but was a hell of a lot less work. But on that note I have a set waiting to go on. I already owned them when I found that out.

 

So do Josh's... I doubt youll sell them any time soon so Ill buy them when I come back from basic.

 

I have 2 KM2's with gashes bigger than that in them and I've put another 10K or so on them without issue. I even run them on the freeway. Survived 9 days of hard trails in Moab never airing back up between trails. But they are KM2's and not duratracs I guess.
