Mine has home link and auto dim mirror as well. Can you add a tow package? How hard would it be?

Mine will be in on the 24th and ordered mine with custom leather seats. i really dig the jbl systems tho. I guess ill have to put an after markets system. I can keep the original HU in it tho right? The dealer said if did not come with a tow hitch but he would switch out my 13 offroad tow hitch to put on this pro.

Picked up mine last week. Black and beautiful. Impressive ride love everything, except crap Oem speakers & bucking bronco drum rear brakes. Head scratch as to why didn't Toyota use all disc??!!!

How would the new owners compare the on road road handling/manners/quality to the other models?

Sweet looking truck. I really like the grill. In the pictures they look level or even a little bro lean.

#171 CM2, mine rides great, especially on small roads. Highway runs smooth, trd exhaust helps with power. However, rear drum brakes with the lift are sketch above 60 mph. Will look into this with Toyota service....

Is the pro the only one with rear drum breaks or do all Tacoma come with them?

Tacomas have been basically the same for 10 years; they've always had rear drum brakes. How many trucks have you seen come with disc brakes all around?

I have #005 and would agree ride is great and is a bit stiffer than my previous Sport on paved roads. No luck getting it off road yet so I can't really report back on that.

Curious about the braking you have experienced?? I have had a couple of instances in traffic between 40-50 mph where I gradually press on the brakes and suddenly the ABS kicks in and the truck seems to lose breaking for a split second. I have had the dealer look into it, but it is very hard to duplicate and there are no codes stored in the system. Keep me posted if you have any luck with Toyota.

Seriously, the rear drums are pretty ridiculous for a modern vehicle...

Hi Cdill-Took it to toyota service. tech said after test ride, it's due to the off-road/higher suspension. He suggested adding weight to the bed. I am going to see if adding a canopy will help. Basically I'd like to somehow lessen the nosedive when braking harder above 55 mph.
The other issue (created thread: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...pro-15-clunky-steering-issue.html#post9175164). Tech confirmed issue and has placed me on hold for next steps. So if you get a chance to off road and similar issue occurs, best to report.
Otherwise, I like most everything else...;)
