yeah id be pissed. If I know you lie to me just once we are done.

 

I'm the same. I don't deal with lying. I don't lie so why lie to me? I'm not someone who freaks out or is gonna yell at him for it. and he knows it. So IDK why he cant just be straight up about it. He works at a body shop... so not like he cant get it fixed for pretty cheap. Hes the one who painted my car, and has done a lot of work to my vehicles. Hes basically my brother I live at his dads house and his dad raised me.

 

I sent a pic of it to him to show him the mark and he said "yeah that obviously wasnt the door catching on it, but I was rly drunk and I dont remember what happened"

 

well this problem is yours but im not letting anyone drive my truck unless they have 30K in the bank waiting to fix what they fuck up.

 

ya, well the only good thing is it is a cheap car that I don't care a lot about. I know letting him borrow it can be risky. I wasn't mad about the damage. Ill get it fixed. I'm mad about the not being honest and not even telling me about it and leaving it for me to find.

 

Wow I'd be pissed. For me that would end a friendship.

 

ya.... hes "family" so its not that easy. But there are a few others who are supposedly great friends of mine who are lying too.. So Im going to be staying away from them for awhile. I still haven't been able to talk to the one person face to face yet. But he's coming over tonight. So we will talk then.

 

If your friend is thick-headed enough to lie to you about the dent being from the door catching and expecting you to believe that, I'd wager money that the dent is from his head. His heavy ass head probably dented the fender when he fell into it head first when walking up to the car to get into it. Drunk ass....

 

ha seriously. So frustrating. The car was pretty clean.. But Ill get it fixed. Probably going to make a trip to pick and pull this weekend now.

 

Make sure your "family" friend foots the bill on this one; hold him responsible.

 

Ya Ill try. But I'm not counting on it. I have a feeling Ill be paying for it. I gotta get it fixed soon, my drivers door barely opens and I dont want to cause too much damage to the door.

 

just take a sawsall to the fender youll be fine.

 

no kidding right, Im already talking to a few guys that might have parts to fix it. SO we shall see. good thing paint is cheap lol

 

just stay away from red my paint job on just my springs for my coil overs was $350 had them painted viper red. only reason it happened is my boss paid for it.

My friend came over. He already had ordered the fender today from his body shop and it will be fixed and painted in a couple days.

 

Wow. Dude stepped up. Good for him. Did you get an apology for him lying to you?

 

id just be happy it's getting fixed. Im not saying id let him borrow it again but id be happy.

 

Ya he was sorry, all is ok. I'm not one to hold grudges. probably not going to let him borrow a car again. But glad its getting fixed.

 

hey there truck girl, i was looking at your bumper, and on their website, do you have the "center tube grille guard" or the "full width tube grille guard" basically, I wanted the side braces as well, thanks!

 

I didn't get the tube from them, my friends did it so I'm not sure what NWTI's look like
