No, I spent Friday and Saturday sick in bed getting past some kind of flu ... Really weird, started with a small cough centered in my chest but never turned head cold like; but super fever, aches, and pains all thru my core. It was sleep, wake up drenched in sweat, shower and fresh pjs/bed linen, then repeat. But I seemed to have gotten past it by going to bed immediately versus trying to work thru it. We did see fantastic northern lights out at Chicken the week prior. Sorry you missed them. That seems the way with the Northern Lights, whenever we go looking specifically for them, I've always missed them; for me anyway, they seem to show up when I wasn't even thinking about looking for them. :notsure:

I only got to see them twice in AK - was too cloudy all of the time!

Sorry you were sick but you're right, probably would have been a lot worse if you didn't listen to your body and rest. There's some nasty bug going around down here too - lots of kids getting sent home from school and such. And its only the 2nd full week of the school year! Gonna be a long cold/flu season if its started already...

For wrenching yes. Power tools no like water.

For camping no. Never once delayed or canceled a trip due to weather.

It's all good. I was at the vet for Kali for about 90 minutes anyway. And football was on... My Saturday was kind of lazy after I got home
I've done the same thing with the mail... he isn't alone :anonymous:
The only shop my truck has seen in 5 years was for the headlight warranty enhancement. And an oil change last year... right before I went to Colorado for training, and my tools were stolen from my garage.

Slowly learning all the mechanics of my 6x6. Too lazy to retype so here:
About to head over to Randy's now to drink coffee and plot strategy. See if any of the flyboys over that way can give us an indication if another trip over would be worth it.

    How are you and yours?

Good luck with the trip. I wouldn't mind some of that in my freezer.. I need a deep freeze, but no place for one right now. Maybe when I get back to KS I will have it.

We are all good. The boy is just turning 1 1/2 years. Getting big, active and already throwing tantrums. Except for that, he is exactly like I was at that age (I supposedly didn't cry or get pissed off like that until I was 2-3). He does the fake cry, getting tears to roll out with nothing. Flirts with any hot blonde girl he sees. Doesn't take his eyes off of them at all. Poor ladies, don't know what is going to hit them.

I only have one vehicle - if my truck needs work I sometimes can't wait until I can get my friend's help. What else am I supposed to do? Unlike you I won't drive my truck when I know something is broken

He actually did that himself. I walked into the guest room to find him, and he was sitting there playing in the kennel...
