my trd off road was a access cab,, i went from a 2001 trd offroad access cab, that i had 12 yrs and loved that truck,, traded the 2001 for the 2014 trd off road,, after a month i wished i had my 2001 back,,, i drove the PRO alot yesterday, drank a few buds,,, and i had a sh-t eaten grin back on my face,, it handles great ,, i love it, i love the sound of it , im still smilin thinkin about it ,worth every penny and i only owe 17,600.00, my off road was almost paid for, lol. been saving and paying for almost a yr waiting for this truck to come out,, they had 3 people coming to look at it sat, i went down last wensday the day they got it and bought it,, if i waited till sat. i would not be making this post,,.. thanks for your posts guys,, im a happy 57 yr old man again,,lol... like i said,, no comparison between the 2014 i traded in and the PRO,,, i live in northeast pa, gonna be fun driving back and forth to work this week,, our roads really suck around here..

Great looking truck. If I didn't quit my job to go back to grad school I would trade mine in, but I would have to supercharge the Pro. I love that everything is factory and you don't have to worry. Good purchase and if you really paid 30, then good deal!

Is it just a softer ride on the road? Louder road noise or the same?

There is no limit to the number they will make, if people order them they will buy them - it is built on a TRD Offroad, and sent to a port installer to do the "pro" portion of the install - mirrors, bumper covers, hood, etc

Based on the number of Baja's sold though, it is likely there will be less than 2000 - they are just very expensive trucks and if people are cross shopping they may not choose the tacoma - if you are a tacoma person you'll buy it.

You went from a 1 year old OR almost paid off, to owing over 17k on a new PRO. Seems questionable to me! But I guess if money isn't an issue then get whatever makes ya happy.

How much did you pay for the PRO? If you got 27k for your 14' OR, and owe over 17k on the PRO, then I'm thinking it must have been around 42k?

Do the new Pro models share the same front "Sport" seats?

That's probably the nicest looking "stock" Tacoma that I've seen.
