Spent the entire day yesterday detailing the truck. Clay bar, buff compound and polish, then wax. Hate doing it, but the results make it worth it.

Hearing you waiting that long is not what I like to hear...

On the bright side, I just got my truck back. Turned out all it was, was a blown 50amp fuse in the engine bay. I didn't check all of them in there, so that's why I missed it. Man I'm happy it wasn't anything more serious.

Added a Block heater. Something I have been meaning to do for a few years now. Took about 20 minutes to install, route the cable…etc.

BTW, Toyota has changed the part number. The part number referenced in other threads in our forum is coming up as obsolete. The new Toyota Canada part number is PU 140 00913. I paid $90 for it at my local stealership. Now ready for the cold mornings of another Ottawa winter!

I was hoping, but couldn't figure out which it would be and didn't feel like testing them one by one at midnight last night. I thought it might have been a 100amp fuse in the engine bay, cause the manual said it controlled a lot of the things I had lost power to, but I guess I was wrong. Couldn't get that fuse out either.. It's like permanently fixed in there.. haha

I didn't feel like doing that at midnight... My wife was already kinda upset at me for working on the truck most of the day and leaving her with the baby...
Ended up costing me like $40 bucks for labor and the fuse.
Next time I'll test them all myself.

And glad your truck wasn't f'd up.

And on the sticker front, don't worry, I haven't actively pursued getting one in a long time. I don't put stickers on my Tacoma anyway.

On a more important I paid my truck off about 10 minutes ago. Now she is mine, all mine :woot:
