I can answer some questions in terms of HEX if needed. I am a computer engineer, so work with it on a daily basis.

bottom line, the current UG is incapable of reading trans temp.

The MX may when we find the right codes........... they do not copy/paste right over from the scangauge, but its close.

They told me there isn't much interest in people seeing transmission temps... Thought maybe if more than one person said we were interested they might be more motivated...

I promise you they are working on it. Thats all I can say ;)

They asked me personally to not say much else because the more swamped they get with tickets, the LESS time they have to help people like me who have the MX already

well, the cats out of the bag it seems.............. I wasnt aware they were giving out that information.

Yes, I am the 1 with the new MX 1.3

Yes I am working my ass off and spent many hot days in the garage sweating my ass off punching in these little codes and pounding my head into the walls.

Ill do my best, just plz dont bombard them with more tickets.

Ill get back in the garage for a bit while Im feeling "better" and try a few more codes and double checking my work with all those freaking letters.

sorry, I had to try some codes, take pics, send them in my gauge for an updated MX and wait for them to finalized some codes for other cars on this, then pre program mine with what they thought would work....

Plus they are only available a few days a week by email.

so thats why it looked like I flaked on ya........... I had to wait for them as well.

anyone have a spare ECU they could donate?

I have the scangauge codes I gave them and they are giving me help. When I send off my results they come back with new ideas, but they dont have a tacoma there to try it on themselves :)

I just ran some more trial and error and the readout I have is waay high, but they should be able to narrow it down when they are available again (not till wednesday).

Its not bruteforce.......... They just have to help me with the math, and I have to supply them with a tacoma and try

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
I really wanted to get in on this last group buy, but the lack of temp gauge kept me from doing it. I'll pull the trigger the day they figure it out and update the units being sold.
