2.5 weeks with no cigarettes and I've ended up with a pretty ridiculous vaporizer contraption lol. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to quit smoking.

 

Nice! Now you just have to slowly get your self off of that too. I quit chewing last thanksgiving and it was the best thing I did.

 

Ya I'm on no nicotine. The problem is I like to smoke but I hate cigarettes. So I figure at least I'm not addicted to nicotine anymore and vapor is much much less harmful than smoke.

 

Yeah I'm still skeptical on them just because of lack of studies. But my neighbor is a respiratory therapist and her husband uses one, so I guess it's not too bad yet..

 

There have been a couple thorough studies on pg vapor saturation in body tissue. One was in the 50s and one is fairly current. Neither found noticeable differences. And they were testing at 70-100ppm

 

people have been saying that this upcoming weekend might be the peak time to go see the foliage changing, i know im going to be hiking lake isabelle up near nederland this upcoming sat, maybe wheeling sunday but who knows.

 

What trail do you think would be the best to catch some of the change?

 

i am slightly different in that i like to hike to go see the foliage changing so i can take my time and shoot photos, last year we went up and hiked holy cross with the group that was headed up the same day, saw a bunch of great colors on the way to the trail head down 24 from minturn area. One of the best views other than down at the Maroon bells would be up near Vail looking out over Piney Lake. The aspens in the Vail valley are very very cool around this time of year. Id say pretty much anywhere up past idaho springs would start to change colors though.

Spent three days backpacking the Huerfano River valley and the upper lakes (Lily and Lost).

Friggen beautiful up there. Friday night/Saturday morning was chilly.

 

ill be driving to the trail head and hiking, its on the wifes list of hiking trips this summer, no wheeling to this location
