It's different, I like it!

Is it just me or does it look like your truck is trying to go over your front tires haha

Looks as if you have very low caster numbers.

I can't remember what my last alignment numbers were but I'm not happy with it. It seems like it has positive camber too. The fronts have never looked right to me, but I have no clue where to take it?? McLeas did a bad job and I don't know where to take it now.

I agree the bumper is different, not sure if I'm in love yet, but regardless I like having something no one else does.

What are good numbers I should shoot for in an alignment? 0 caster right? What about camber and toe

Nice bumper. I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

Did you have to trim your rear quarter panels for those side protectors?
Is there a receiver behind the license plate?

Also, what are those 'blocks' at each corner of the bumper. Is that reinforcement for a future spare tire swing gate?

I couldn't tell you numbers really. I just try to shoot for as close to spec as possible for camber and toe. Then I like to have around +2* of caster.

    I currently have the following:

    LEFT FRONT:
    - Camber: -0.3*
    - Caster: 0.3*
    - Toe: 0.05*

    RIGHT FRONT:
    - Camber: -0.5*
    - Caster: 0.5*
    - Toe: 0.02*

I forgot to tell them last time that I want to try for as much as 2* of caster so that it pushes the tire forward allowing for better clearance. I rub the fender towards the cab again ever since they pulled the caster back to near 0*....

315/75/16 !!! I like them a lot, not as big as a 35 but they fit better.

That helps a lot thanks! I'll swing by big O and give them a try

Thanks, it is a DIY kit from Relentless.

Yes I took almost 10" off the rear quarters, yes there is a receiver behind the license plate.

Those blocks are just part of the design from Relentless, I ended up making them about 1.5" shorter than they should be, I'm guessing they are meant to protect the tail light.

Some people shoot for 0* Camber, 0* Toe and 2.5* Caster.

Last time I took it in I, I didn't specify and they set it up as:

    Camber L: 0.3 R: 0.3
    Toe L: 0.04 R: 0.05
    Caster L: 2.0 R: 2.1

If you know of any race car, track or rally types, might want to ask them where they take theirs for alignment.

A decent alignment shop should know what is spec for your vehicle and attempting to at least get camber and toe in spec. They should also be able to get caster in spec but I've had a few that give up and say it is too hard because of the lift.

Got my new parts I need to get installed before wheeling this weekend. If this doesn't fix it there's no way I can go. Can't turn worth a shit.

I bought these bushing for my old 4runner last year. The ones on this truck are still fine, but I have the parts so I guess I will put them in. I did them in my old truck and it was pretty easy and made quite a difference. There's a local jeep event this weekend. They set up a big obstacle course to test different aspects and capabilities of your rig. Everything from mild to wild. It's probably not "wheeling" but whatever.

Anyone on here have some frame reinforcement plates and care to answer a question or two? I've had a set of the CBI one's sitting around for a while, and trying to get them welded on tomorrow.

Anyways, passenger side if fine, on the driver side there is two things in the way. One is a bump out of a weld for the upper shock mount, am I safe grinding this down? The other is the bracket for the fuel filler neck. How have you guys worked around these?

I notched the reinforcement plate around the shock mount. I would not grind off the plug weld. I would do the same for the bracket. That little piece you cut off is not going to be detrimental.
