I just installed kings with the preload they come with. I was wondering if I should stick with 31s if that would allow mor travel or should I go up to 33s but would that limit travel? Also we should do another meet sometime because the last one I was stock and felt like shit walking past all your guys's trucks but now I got something on the taco. Plus I love to see all the bad ass trucks

    Welcome to the forum!

Yes, there are some threads on the melted/ cracked daytime running/ turn signal light extended warranty. I got mine done at Toyota Carlsbad. They did the one cracked/ melted one with the mailed notice I got, but refused to do the other so they were matched (new one had clear lens, old one has amber lens)... even lied to me saying they called corporate who said only the one is covered! Here on TW, many had no issue with both being replace (as the TSB clearly calls for), so I called Corporate myself... let's just say, with a corporate call, the dealer had NO problem doing the other headlight. Here is one of the headlight TSB threads (it incorrectly calls it a recall): http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/336066-toyota-recall-melting-dtrls.html

Tires don't limit travel fenders limit travel. 33's you will get some rubbing depending on the tire you use. Just a little grinding will do the trick. It's all over this forum.

You should only need to run glass with long travel. Even with UCA in addition to the shocks and 33's you should still clear.

    You won't need glass.

I think you need to do the body mount chop for 33's.

285's and up you need body mount chop and pinch weld mod. Piece of cake.

Those damn things are FLAMMABLE. Always check for leafs and shrubs in the flares before cutting/welding the cab mounts

thanks for all the replies. I'm hoping i don't have to do much preload because i wanna keep them absorbing as much as possible and not a stiff ride. Im hoping the deafer pack doesn't crap out on me though.

Ya I have the 10 leaf pack. Shit so you think they'll sag quick even if it's only for like an hour and a half with that kind of load

Not only sag, I would imagine hit bumps all the time with 2 bikes back there. Did you tell DSM what you typically carry?
