They have their moments, especially going WOT out of a corner, but they're terribly finicky if you don't baby them and they have a tendency to blow motors in the newer years. They have severe ringland issues due to a tune that is needed for emissions compliance. They also have issues with the oil pickups. This may change once they move away from the EJ series motors if they ever go FA series on the 15+ STis.

I can't speak for the newest ones but the GD and 08-14 models never let you forget they were a powerful motor in an otherwise cheap economy car. I've seen people complain about Toyota paint...compared to Subaru paint Toyota paint is amazing. Subaru paint chips/scratches/swirls if you look at it too long.

I'd like to eventually trade mine for a Mk IV Supra TT 6MT Targa, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get into one before the prices go into the stratosphere. I can't seem to find one worth buying for under 25-27K The GD series STis are still worth quite a bit, I could probably squeeze 22-23K from mine with the right buyer, but I'd probably still need to spend 6-9K to get into a Supra from where I'm at and right now I just don't have that type of cash to spend on a car. Hopefully after the wedding and when the fiancee gets a full time teaching job things will change, but who knows.

    Lol.
If you owned a dealership and somebody Alex's age rolled into your lot with a 10 year old lifted 4Runner with dents, scratches, and bald tires, what would you offer him? I think they were saying "go away please" with their offer, honestly. I've had dealerships make that offer to me before when I've been vehicle hunting too.

Don't lease. When you lease you get to have a new car and a new car payment for 3 years, but at the end of the lease you hand them back the keys and you've got nothing to show for your payments but the receipts.

Also, good morning to all y'all.

I couldn't imagine being the arresting officer(s) on that one. That man has enough fire power to arm a small nation and you never know what people will do when their back's against a wall. Glad that part went down without incident, hopefully the scumbag rots in a cell for the rest of his miserable existence if he truly did what he's accused of.
Very cute John. Very happy time, I'm sure.

John that is awesome that you can take the time to help and bond. Enjoy the time with him cause you will find that you are racing home to see him after you head back to work. They grow and change daily at that age. I agree with Mike about that Will thing. I think I read it happened 22 years ago with one but it was still happening with another.

    Damn.
My featherweight cousin (she's probably 110lbs soaking wet with her pockets full of bricks) dropped a 10lb baby a couple of years ago. She didn't gain much weight while she was pregnant, either, so she just looked like a skinny girl who'd swallowed a boulder.
