Curious? I'm not sellin'- - I bought and am shop testing. I have done this year's ago, with limited success. It worked, but sporatically. The new set-ups are the nuts, especially the electronics. Watch for my occasional posts, if your interested. There are MANY scams out there. Be cautious!

There are probably a lot of scams out there because it doesn't work. Damn physics. OTOH if you make magic, you can be a multi-millionaire this week. There are multiple million dollar prizes out there specifically for the first person to create a working system. Same with perpetual motion, cold fusion etc.

    New setups are nuts.

Got that right, what a load of shit. But hey, if you believe it it must be true.

From your vocabulary, you sound like a real authority. Probably did a lot of research before responding. I thought this forum was for us to help each other - not blind negativity.

I have an AFE vortex throttle body spacer for sale, gives +10 hp at high rpms in conjunction with the HHO setup. :p

Hydrolysis is perpetual motion, or against the laws of physics? If you can tie your shoes you can break water into hydrogen and oxygen. The challenge is proper control, now available with modern technology.

That doesn't look like a throttle body spacer.

The process to break down the water molecule takes an very large electrical charge. This electrical charge is generated from the alternator which in turn runs off the engine. The amount of energy you get from burning the product is less than the energy required to turn the alternator. Therefore you are losing power, not gaining.

And to beat a dead horse, according to the law of conservation of energy, the very best you will get a net gain of zero (this assuming %100 efficiency in the energy transformation and usage which is virtually impossible). You can't use energy to make energy.

    Science.

Nice truck! Please try to keep rumors and hearsay from influencing you thoughts too much. I have a small shop in which I design and build LED lighting fixtures. Behind me, as I type, I am "burning in" my new hho set-up, using my LED/testing equipment. Over the last few days, I have run the set-up 11 1/2 hrs. It is currently running at 9 amps/13.2 volts(dc). It is producing probably more HHO than I need for my little 3.4 '01 Tacoma. One of the MANY misconceptions about HHO is that you need a lot of it. Not true. More later.

Thanks! Not trying to be an ass but if you found a way to split water with a positive energy gain then you just solved the worlds energy crysis in your garage. Patent that shit quick. I guess we'll be expecting to see your name on the Nobel Peace Prize soon?

FYI, before you post "results," butt dynos are not very welcome here.

    ...too much shit to list.
9 amps at 13.2 volts is 118.8 watts.
    There's 745.7 watts in one HP, which means 118.8/745.7 = 0.159 HP.
Even if you assume 100% efficiency, do you really think you're going to increase fuel economy by substituting one sixteenth of a HP?

Horsepower? We're talking more efficient combustion of fuel, in this case gasoline or diesel. Which, by the way, does increase horsepower.

I think what Jason is trying to say is, according to your power numbers, you are using an estimated 0.159 HP (assuming %100 efficiency) to split the molecules. Keep in mind you lose efficiency in your alternator when transfering mech energy to electrical energy and god knows what your mol splitting/watt efficiecy is... So calculate how many moles of O2 and H2 you are making / W and calculate the increase efficiency you are gaining in your engine and you get your net gain (loss) of energy.

Good point. Safety is paramount. Hydrogen and oxygen burn - but that's the idea, huh. The proper amount (and it's not much) into the intake simply makes your fuel burn more efficiently. All vehicles '96 and newer, means we have to deal with the on-board computer to get the proper balance. THAT is the major recent advance in tech. that makes it worth while. Your still running on gas, but gas that burns better.
