Ya since they were cut with the dremel you can see a little bit of an edge from where it left marks. I picked up some black silicone that I'm going to use to reseal them so that should help cover most of the marks. If it's really visible I think I might tint 1/8-1/4'' all the way around the light on the outside lense to cover the rest of the imperfections.

The stock one is pink:( I wish it was clear like the 09's or some of the ebay ones. Looks way better clear but oh well too far into the mod now.

I'll take a pic of the lense and then another one of the lense resting on the light so you get an idea of what the pinkish lense looks like over the black taillight.

One of kind indeed....I'm still contemplating on buying an ebay set just so I have a clear lense. IDK though might just save the money for something else or sell them if they don't look great on my truck. Well see though

Here's a pic to show how pinkish the stock lense is. I'll have a photo in a minute of one of the lights untaped and I'll set the lense on it so you can get an idea of what it will look like.

    Alright here's the light untaped

Here's the light untaped with lense resting on it. Just need to clean some finger prints off the reverse lens area and reseal them when I get a chance.

Looks good, but a lot of work. I knew guys who did this with the IS300. Takes a lot of patience and skill to cut the lens off without messing things up.

I read it as he tinted them to make them darker that way you saw less pink

I think he was refering to how it looks pink around the edges where you cut it apart. If you look at the pic on the left you see there is a black border painted around the edge of the light. I assume this is what hes talking about to hide how it looks pink around the edges.
