All right guys I got the maiden flight up

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnLH1WABZKk

Flew it 3 times, took landing gear off and added another battery in parallel.

Maiden: 6 minutes, 60% hover / slight movement & 40% aggressive, 1 battery still had juice left in the battery

Flight 2: 8 minutes, 50/50 flying aggressive / hover 10 minutes, still had prob 1 or 2 'safe' minutes of flying

Flight 3: 12 minutes, 2 batteries, no landing gear all aggressive flying, 7 minutes, still had safe battery left over

so who wants to buy it :spy: :D

UPS just delivered my Hubsan x4. I got it charged and played with it for just a minute in my office and I can tell that I am going to have a blast with this little thing. My secretary thinks I am nuts though. Crappy cell phone pics.

Nice. I got to fly a 550 this weekend. So much fun. The dude had a brick for a battery and said he was getting 18 mins flight time. He had a FPV setup running through a gopro which made it super fun flying around the neighborhood.

I just ditched my 550 frame. Moved over to a 650 similar to the Tarot. 4 hours spent wiring and soldering everything. Should get to fly tomorrow.

I absolutely love the little Hubsan, tons of fun! Picked up 5 extra 3.7 amh battery packs and have been flying it daily. Even with 10ft ceilings in my living room flying inside seems too confined. I generally wait until the kids go to bed and fly it outside at night, I like it best at night because of the LED's make it easy to keep track of the orientation / yaw.

I also flew my freinds DJI Phantom Vision this weekend. It's incredible how well balanced and easy to fly it is, we got some great video but really it is so stable and responsive that it almost takes some of the fun out of it. It practically flys it's self.

Ha, I didn't want to say it with you trying to sell it, but that's why I ditched it too. I really wanted a larger capacity frame that could fold down. Transporting it was annoying.

Ehh lol the frame was $30 I think so no biggie really, I can run all the components on the 680 but not sure how it would handle. I really want to fly a nex on the 680 though

The DJI 2212's. I want to buy a 450 and use it for FPV and why the hell not with the hex setup I am going to dismantle.

Ahh, those a pretty much the same motors I had on my 550. I'm worried they'll be under powered for my 650 frame, but it only ways 150g more. So hopefully I'm alright.

I am starting to look at the 6XX Kv 4S motors, but that would mean buying a whole new set of batteries. I'm not exactly excited about spending another $300 on batteries.
