Amen to that! Joseph sleeps pretty well for a baby but we're still constantly exhausted.
That's what you ended up with? Kendra had a Suzuki hatchback and it was actually a fun car to drive. It had decent power but it eventually nickle and dimed us to death so we sold it off.
Let me tell you how that worked out for me...

Shit, I was looking at that like "only one of them was on purpose?" and wondering if the kids knew which one was on purpose and which ones were accidents!

"sorry I broke the lamp, daddy"
"that's ok, son. We had you on purpose, so I can't be angry with you. Your siblings, on the other hand..."

Quick Question cuz you guys know a lot :)

    Backstory~
My friend is selling a 2001 Tacoma 4x4 TRD 5spd. She is the 2nd owner.
The 1st owner had an accident, it was sold by the insurance co. & rebuilt @17k.
She's owned since the rebuilt bought it in 2002.
In 2010 Toyota did the frame replacement.
In 2011 her Dad put on a new rust free bed.
    New front brakes/rotors this summer.
It was her daily driver but needs some cab body work (she got an estimate to repaint the cab/repair for 2k).
Also I think an 02sensor (mnt light)
She decided after driving it for 12 yrs to buy another Tacoma.

How do you value the truck or what to ask?
    I think the mileage is 160k 3.4L

She is asking me, I guess because I drive a Tacoma :notsure:
    and I know nothing......TIA :)
FWIW the truck is near VT/NH border/WRJ area.

Why was it rebuilt at only a year old?

The 1st owner had an accident (not her)
It was sold at auction & rebuilt you know insurance companies.
She has had no trouble with it & the new frame & everything was replaced in 2010 via Toyota

hmmm may have to add that to the story good question!

Regular Cab, Extended cab, or Doublecab?

A quick check on Craigslist in my area has most of the Tacomas of that vintage/mileage priced between $5k and $8k.
However, none of them seem to require any body work, if the pictures and wording of the ads can be trusted.

Tell her a G then give me her number... Lol

Seriously you can check with KBB and other sites but if it has rust problems it is going to be on the very low side of whatever you see. Especially if she is trading it in. Sorry if I didn't help

    Its an extended cab.
I will try to get a picture
    Your help is appreciated.
I didn't want to throw out a number for her without talking to the subject matter experts at TW. The truck is clean other than the rust near the passenger door at the bottom. Totally a street Queen.

Yeah lol! Her brother offered her $1.5k
She isn't trading. She bought a 2014 AC base 4x4 already. Lives off the grid up by Bradford no bills

haha, when was the last time you bought wheels? 1992?

I was just as surprised when I priced a spare set of steelies for the Dodge. I was like "$60 apiece?! that's f**kin' crazy!" and decided it could deal with one set until I found some in CL.

Nice. Wish I had no bills. I should take myself off of the grid too before it become illegal like it did in Florida. #governmentcontrol

I remember reading about that and thinking what BS it is.
Did you hear about that sustainable living community in Texas that got raided by a SWAT team? Handcuffed everybody at gun point, and ended up only arresting one person on a traffic violation or something. Crazy.

Dude I can get fancy aftermarket wheels for $75 each . Figured used steelies would be a lot cheaper. Shit I payed $150 for (4) 15x10 wheels for my 4runner and I thought that was pushing it.
