Interesting. Might work for what I have set up now in the bed.

 

I know the ARB rear bumper for the FJ has holes for the factory sensors fit in. Not sure about other manufacturers though.

 

I would think you could drill holes in relatively the same place and re-calibrate the system.

you ever lift on your sliders?

how much deflection do you see? does it ever concern you how much it moves?

Yea we have. Twice last trip actually.

The passenger side was welded a bit high on the mounts and the rear door (DCSB) would just barely graze the kickout unloaded. If someone was sitting in there, it would hit harder (cab mount deflection?)
Jerry sent me some shims and now the gap between the kickout and open door is much better but a jack placed on the kickout can cause some interference. It appears to me that all deflection is happening either in the sliders themselves or in the frame, but NOT in the mounting. If I'm right, I would expect welded sliders of the same design to deflect the same.
At any rate, the sliders have seen a LOT of use and proven invaluable.

And that is that people who smoke MJ dont smoke 43x a day. Alot less harsh on the lungs I would say. Theres a ton of factors that make this a pretty hard argument.

 

Its a trade off really, it's not your lungs you have to worry about with MJ
