    my wife and I are opposite. On a side note you NEED to get at least one credit card and have some on it or you will not have any established credit which will bite you in the ass when you get a car or house loan one day and have to have high interest rates. When my wife and I met 5 years ago we have slowly been getting her credit established and now she has 3 cards just because we plan on buying a house one day and if she has no established good credit that interest rate would be through the roof.

    Really? I've never had a credit card and bought a house last year at a rate of 3.79% but I also used my VA loan. I do need to get one though

    Those wanting in on this GB list I will take 50% deposit up front, And the rest at the end of the GB. The GB will end October 6th.     oh I didn't say you couldn't get a house. But your rate will be higher is all.
    Not a bad rate. mine is at 2.25% on my condo so that 1.54% could be the difference between $35,000 and $60,000+ in interest over the life of a loan on a small home. VA loan is sweet too! I also refinanced my condo after about 2 years just because making payments on it made my credit go up higher and gave me an even lower rate.
    anyway we started her credit off by buying a new 70" LED TV and just making payments on it interest free, just made the last payment last month:D....
