Take it off and bring it inside, take the panel off, take out the stock handle, flip the driverside rod, and you'll be all ready for tomorrow.:):D:)

I agree with this. If your worried about it, why not take it off for a night. Since its off just get it all prepped. Its easy and you should be done in 5-10 min once you get the part.

Buy a hose clamp and do the tailgate security mod right away and do the PopNLock when you get to it.

    Not enough...
Don't have pictures yet (haven't installed) but I drove 100 miles to get a brand new in a box BedRug (full bed) for $250 (retails for $420). Even if you factor the gas, I still scored pretty good.

Looks like this (not my truck):

Ran into some extended family on the road. Was in a hurry, so didn't stop to chat ;)

Funny, how they ship them without center caps.

Today I FINALLY used the spot bot to clean the drivers seat after the 2200 mile trip from Seattle, to New Orleans. My wife was driving with my daughter, two cats and a Yorkie. She opened a "shaken, not stirred !" Sprite!!! The driver door still sticks when I open it. Man does this truck need a bath.

I also received the install kit for my Undercover tri-fold cover today. Hope to install it tomorrow or Friday.
