It had looked like just a spot the size of a dime on top.
I pulled up the edge of the carpet and reached to stuff wet rags under there tonight. The spot on the padding was about 11 inches or so based on the brown that pressed into that rag.

And the first statement is more true. But I was really specifically talking about my truck. As far as the gears go, the two biggest factors are what gear ratio you get and what mph you drive at the most. High gears are great for low speed driving and really crappy for high speed driving. Matching gear ratio to tire size to accomplish a stockish ratio is key in getting the best mpg but even then it depends on how fast you drive. So a higher ratio will give you more torque at a lower speed by decreasing the length of the gear which makes it easier to drive which means less gas to move. Where it hurts you is once you get into your overdrive gear, your gear is shorter then normal, increasing your rpms which increases your hp which uses more gas. So there's a lot to this stuff then me just making up numbers. Haha I just know that those were close to what those items did to my truck

 

I know 4.88's won't be as good. That's why I didn't go with him.

Also, the Genre of music is "Hick Hop". The video it posted was Denum Jones and the video Adam posted was Charley Farley. Yeah, I listen to that stuff sometimes.

 

Weston what gears do you have now and what is your MPG since we're all sharing lol

 

3.73 and if I fill up till the pump handle shuts off, I'll get between 13-15mpg. If I fill the truck all the way up ~$8 more than the cut off and still check what my mileage is at the same point (usually when my gas light comes on or a little less than 1/4 of a tank) I'll get 16-18.5.

 

My ultraguage says 17.9 for me. Damn near all highway driving at 65-70

 

I don't have enough free weekends to go down with Christmas light season right around the corner .
