    Yeah, but IMHO, October is still going to be too hot for camping, unless we have some sort of freakish early cold snap, so if I attend that one it'll be just for a day.

    I hear ya. I read more than I watch TV though. Or surf the net. If you really want to lose a few hours, look up a site called TV tropes. Just to give you a starting point, start with "A-team shooting" and continue from there with any links that look amusing/interesting. :D

    October I'm free any weekend except halloween weekend. As for next year I vote Feb. Just cause it might be a bit warmer. I didn't camp last year but want to this next year for sure, and would rather not spend the money on better sleeping bags and what not.

    Just invest in some thermal underwear. :cool: Heck, I brought mine but didn't even have to break it out.

    Of course, I was nice and toasty sleeping in the truck, although it took me a few tries to figure out how to deal with the damn seatbelt receptacle that was trying to go somewhere it had no business being. :p
