What bender and how much did it set you back? I might be in the market for one as well.

Haven't done much but I replaced the ignition coils and put the fenders on from BoxRocket. I also put my lightbar behind the grill by cutting the back out with a Dremel.

Haven't done much to the truck due to an issue with the truck not wanting to start. Replaced a few parts and checked the valve clearances. Really tight so I ended up checking the cylinder compression. 25-30 psi is still good right?

So now the tear down to see how the valves are.

Thanks Steve. I took off the head and the valves look ok. Sprayed some carb cleaner down the intake. One of the valves on each cylinder leak. Probably from all the gunk that passed through the high flow air filter.

So I tore down the head and found several burnt exhaust valves. Ordered up new valves, hoping they come in soon. Have to wait longer to put everything together though.
I ordered up a head gasket set from a local (40 miles away) auto parts place. I paid the full amount so they could order them up. I checked back the following week 2 different times and on my second trip there, I find out that they haven't even order the gaskets. By then it had been just over a week since I first went in. So I got a refund and ordered the same gaskets online shipped to my house. Now I play the waiting game again but this time I know the stuff is on its way to my house.

The bender is an Affordable Bender.

So cool. Congrats on getting it all back together. Where's the snorkel to plug the hole on the other side?
