Sounds terrible. I'm usually not awake until 5:30.

Meh. Always been an early riser. My alarm's set as a safety net at 5:30 but it never goes off. I'm almost always awake somewhere between 4:15 and 4:45. Awake awake, too. Like somebody threw a switch.

It's going to be a problem when I'm an old man...

It should be fine cause most old men are up early and in bed early

Most normal jobs, that would be my schedule but I'm running the cost control system so I don't need to be in early with my present position. I'm taking advantage of that while I can. On my next project, I won't have that option.

Yeah, but I've been waking up at 4:30-ish since I was a teenager. If I'm waking up that early now, how early am I going to be waking up when I'm 60?!

I live in southern New Hampshire and own a silver 2012 Tacoma double cab with the long bed. I am trying to put a cap and Thule style rack on it. I have not had much luck finding a used cap so I will probably end up buying a new one ( I am leaning towards the Leer 180 for the added height).

The cap dealer wants over $300 for the Thule rack but I am seeing them all over Craigslist for about $150. My issue is that I don't know what else I will have to buy to make the rack fit on the cap if it was not originally bought for that application. Is there a "kit" that will make any other rack fit other vehicles or caps and if so, does anyone know a part number???? Thanks in advance for any help.

Some caps, if bought new with the intention of having a roof rack, will be reinforced to handle the extra weight. I'm not sure what they actually do whether it's just an added plate where the mounts go or if there are other modifications. For a light load, if you're confident in drilling the cap yourself, you can save yourself some $$ by buying second hand. If it were me, and I was going to shell out $2,000 for a new cap, I'd at least let the manufacturer be responsible for the initial drilling and mounting for the roof rack. You might save some money if you only have them install the track and you buy feet and cross bars on your own.

Finally replaced the stupid blue LED's with some amber bulbs. Much improved. And i did the raptor grill LED mod. I think it came out pretty snazzy.

Looks good. Still need to move those lights up a little bit though.

I ordered the LED's for the grill from oznium.com. They are normally used for motorcycle license plates i guess.
