i have heard to stay away from pro comp tires, bfgs last a long time as far as I have been told, also my gfs dad has some bfg at ko's and he has probably put 60,000 kms on them and they still have half tread

Pro Comps are crap, they cup out very hard and wear in weird places. BFG's are a solid tire but it's true that they don't make them like the used to. I know I guy that has had a set for 4 or 5 years with 60k+ miles on them and they look good still, even wear and then I see newer ones that seperate quite often.

    Really thanks for the info.
I am still looking in to them,
Right now Pro comps has a 50,000 warranty on the A/T

And if any one is looking for tires during the month of September they have a buy 3 get one free at the
    http://www.4wheelparts.com/stores
Around here they quoted me 483.00 for all 4 tires out the door with balancing and all for the Pro comp A/T

This is the best deal i have found but if they dont last then I might spring for the BFg's but they are about 100 more?
    dont really know right now.

My parents have some 265/70/17 procomp ATs on their 1/2 ton Z71 Chevy and we havent been to impressed. Wear pattern is a little strange on them and my dad thinks they're wearing much faster than the 50000 warranty they come with. Dont know exact mileage on them as he had them on his Tahoe for a year before swapping wheels/tires between vehicles. I'd guess they have 30000 on them and they're down to probably 30%.

I wouldn't be so sure AFT, Nitto makes a great tire. The Dune grapplers can last a long time if properly cared for.

    This thread is pretty cool.
I like the KM2, those are nice! But the Krawler, and the Destination M/T have attitude!
