To think all I own for shoes is a pair of work boots, a pair of running shoes, a pair of river shoes, and a pair of snow boots.

The ones on the far left and far right (boots) are Cole Haan. They are definitely my favorites. The others (left to right) are Tommy Bahamas, Sperry, and Ecco.

Hey, to each their own. If you don't need them don't get them. My wife likes to get dressed up and go out so I have to fit the part. And, honestly, out of all of my shoes I think 2 were purchased new. The rest are Garage sale or Goodwill.

Speeking of going out, I thought I would share this one of last weekend:

 

that's true. Though I hope to be able to use my snow boots more often. built the truck for snow and rocks so I hope to actually have some snow my last winter in Idaho.

 

I know what you mean. The snow hasn't been too great in a lot of areas. We go to Tamarack, ID every year for winter and sometimes for summer.

 

Tamarack is a great area my girl grew up in that area and we may end up with a house in that area as a vacation home since she has so much family up north.

 

The snow here can be good but I hate it when it freezes over night and then is just mush that clogs up the tread and you can't go anywhere

 

what kinda tires do you run that get clogged up with slush?? Ive never hade issues like that.

Thanks! Yeah the Olukais are only good for for a little water. I love mine. Been wearing them for 2 years now - time for another pair.

 

More Yotas less shoes prease.

 

I've never ran them but I wouldn't say they are all that great seeing how as I've never had an issue with my KM2's or my MTR's

As for the Toyo Mt I have ran that tire for the past 10 years and never had a problem with build up in them, and we run in a lot of snow and mud
I run 285/70/17 on all my rigs F-150, Dodge 2500 and my new tacoma

were did you get that roof rack I like.

 

From toyota. It's the oem rack.

 

I have been running them on my last 2 trucks and love them. Its just that kind of snow that melts, then freezes. It doesn't clog it completely but more so that you can't go through very much.. Through powder and newer snow the tires are phenomenal
