Last Friday I ran Red Cone -> Radical Hill -> Saints John -> Santa Fe Peak. There were some colors throughout the area, but no where near peak yet.

Yes. I did Kingston (from Rollinsville) over to St. Mary's and then back via Yankee a few weeks back.

As discussed, Jenny Creek should be done with this as well. You could go Yankee>Kingston>Jenny for a solid trip.

Let's do it. Saturday is probably better. I'll make a plan for sure later tonight when I get things figured out with my buddy. He should be good for Yankee and Kingston, but don't know if he'll want to take his truck down Jenny creek.

    OK,

    This Sunday 9/21.

Yankee Hill to Kingston Peak to Jenny Creek.
    Meeting Place: TBD
    Meeting Time: TBD

    Attending:
    1) Squeaky Penguin
    2) Night Eagle (may not be running Jenny Creek)

Disclaimer: I do not know this area at all, so I'll be figuring out navigation as we go. I do have a good National Geographic map that covers the whole area though, so I should be alright.

We need some insight from someone who knows the area better then myself. From looking at the map, and my trail guide book, I think we will want to run Yankee Hill from Central City towards the start of Kingston Peak. But Yankee hill is just a huge mess of roads. This would have us meeting at Central City.

But like I said, I really don't know....

Regardless, we should get a fairly early start to makes sure we can complete all 3. Maybe 9ish up there?

I can't make it but there is a big staging lot above Central City at the cemeteries. You can meet there and air down.
