    I can tell u right now from what I was told my rig (offshore) the welders are paid around 100000 a year plus benefits...

    100k for welding a year seems low. Welders on pipeline up north make 8-10k a week on some jobs

    I was a roustabout for one year.. But I was also always on the floor helping... Just got the promotion in July so not to long.. But we don't throw tongs much anymore we got an iron roughneck!! Easy work haha
