Crucible tends to be the best place since i think all of the post match rewards are random. You can buy light gear from the vendors at the tower with crucible marks or just farm for it.

 

You don't have to do Crucible to get armor with light on it. In fact, I haven't played one match since I hit 20 and I'm about to hit 24. EVERTHING in the game is random (much like Diablo). The vendors change out their stock every 8hrs or so, so check back often. I picked up a unbelievable helm off my "trainer" with light on it. Had a legendary heavy weapon drop in one of the strike missions last night (which would have taken me forever just to grind out). Once you finish a mission it is much like the Crucible. Awards are handed out and they are random. What I have noticed is there are many, many random drops after killing random mobs in strike missions.

Again... It's a loot driven game and the RNG will give you what it gives you when it hits the right number basically.

The hardest thing I've noticed so far is leveling up your vanguard rank. I've got enough marks to buy 2 pieces of legendary equipment but not enough rank.

Why? Other than a different look the difference in the classes is minimal. Few different skills and a finisher but other than that nothing to make me want to change. I'm sticking with my Warlock and maxing everything out that I can.

I will say the Titan Bubble can be a lifesaver in a pinch though.

 

I've thought about a hunter build but i love my warlock and i haven't even started the sunsinger subclass. my voidwalker is armor/recovery build

 

are you guys playing on xbox one or ps4? if anybody on xbox one is playing destiny add me, eaglesfn5402. I'm only like level 4, but that's because the mother n law has been here since the game came out. hoping to get a good amount of playing time in this weekend since she leaves tomorrow.

I'm exactly the same. I'm almost finished with void walker and haven't even looked at sunslinger. Mine is armor/recovery build also.

Got a legendary heavy machine gun last night and I'm 250 xp away from my legendary chest piece. I'll get it in a few. That should take me to 26 I think.

 

Damn way ahead of me. Im looking forward to sunsinger but I'm finishing the voidwalker first. All i need is more time to play!

Finally hit level 20 this afternoon before work

 

Well my PS3 80GB Fat finally shit the bed yesterday , PS4 on it's way to my place as of this afternoon

I bought the Last of US Remastered bundle so I guess I'll go with that one first . My favourite games are open world type though

I was 80% done Red Dead Redemption and it killed my machine Red Dead , lol

 

same here! by far my favorite type of game.

 

I spend 1/2 my time in those games just roaming around , or in the GTA series , flying the helicopters around , haha

 

YUP. just exploring. seeing what you can find. Watchdogs.. i highly recommend it. if you like open world.. exploring.. and detail in everything, from buildings, to whats on the tv screens/billboards, to interacting with people.. its fantastic and much better than GTA imo. i used to love GTA.. but they all ended up the same.. me not finishing the game because i got bored. watchdogs is the complete opposite.

 

Ah. I wish Bethesda was focusing on a new elder scroll game instead of the mmo (too much cost compared to console gameplay imo, i know the mmo is going to be console). Skyrim was one of my favorites
