I haven't noticed anyone post they did but that doesn't mean anything. Haha
A local member has his done in white, looks good from a distance but up close there's cracks all over them. Maybe just a bad powder coat job.
I called for a price to do mine & was told a little over a hundred so decided just to rattle can them & I can touch them up if need be.

As for everyone talking about 265/75R16 being too small, that is what I will be running. Still debating though because if it really is too small it will look goofy but I have seen another members and it seems okay.

I think they will look a little small, before I got 285's I had the stock 265's with a 3" spacer lift & they looked small to me. The spindles will give you 4".
I'll see if I can find a pic.

Yeah I'll talk to my local powdercoater I probably would just rattle can it if its more than 75-100. I just hate to take the spindle off just to repaint.

I was running camburg spindles on my old midtravel and 285/70/17 was perfect, I think anything smaller than that would have looked goofy. But that was with coilovers set to 2.5 with 4inch lift spindles. Are you running coilovers, bilsteins, or stock shocks?

Hmm, well there's no way I'm buying new tires, I just bought these and they're supposed to last 80K miles. I would suggest that I could get coils that were actually a half inch or so lower but that's such an odd combination that I doubt I can find it. 3" or 3.5" would be good for me but like I said that is doubtful.

Don't know if they'll fit with stock fenders but we got a Fl member running 37's with glass fenders. If I remember right he said he had to have the glass fenders to run 37's.

Either way they'd have to come off but at least with a rattle can it's cheaper & could be done in a day. I would think powder coating would take longer.
    265's with a 3" lift

Wow. Are they 32" though? That lift makes them look very small, I saw a maxtrac lift with icons set at "barely any lift at all" and it did not look as small as that.

    Here is the exact post
His truck looks fine, too. So why such a contrast between these two?? Also I do not know his exact lift, do you? 4 1/2"? 4 1/4"?

I just got the maxtracs so they arent installed yet, I mean to touch them up if they need to be repainted it would be a pita to remove them just for paint, powder is a bit more durable.

    I have a few mods
I havent actually measured how much im getting, its prob about 4" - 4 1/2" of lift but I do wish I had gotten the 285s over the 265s :/

now that I have my bumper on, my 265s looks freakin tiny as hell...I want 35s now so the tires dont look so small lol

I think your truck looks great. They don't look to small to me for some reason while spruce's do. That blows my mind how a 3" lift looks too much and a 4+" doesn't... Must be a color thing?

My stock tires were 265/65/17 so that's just under 31". Alfuh's may look larger cause they're AT's & mine were the Dunlop street tire.
Yeah that's makes since then & powder is more durable. Also your truck wouldn't be down while they're getting done.
Yeah I laugh when I look at those pics. It's like watching your kid grow up. Lol
I had the 285's with that crappy spacer lift before the Maxtracs. Kinda like you with your spacers. We've both come a long way. haha

So a 30.6? Well mine are 31.6 so I am sure that is the case. However I am also a highway tire. And is powder more durable? What about multiple coats of paint and a clearcoat? I hear about powder cracking a lot is why I ask.

I will try and see if I can photoshop the truck with a 4" lift. That will be an ordeal, getting perfect proportions. Alfuh does yours really bother you that much? I am the type that if something bothers me it will most likely drive me off an edge, though it does depend. (i.e. I still have a chrome bumper and tail lights with black rims)
