Samsung is a good. You can go the Tab or Note route. Notes have the S Pen, and Tabs do not.
I have the Tab 2 as well and love it.

It's a bit pricey but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 2014 edition is bad ass. Screen resolution is insane, batter life is awesome, stylist makes it more fun and it runs 4.4 kit kat. I have one and its a monster for a tablet. Watching HD videos on it looks way better than my TV. Great sound, SD card slut (yes I said slut not slot), the list keeps going.

The problem with a lot of Android tablets is they only go up to Jelly Bean and there are loads of improvements with Kit kat. With that being said any tablet you buy (android) I can put Kit Kat on it if you want.

If you are interested and want to play with some makes and models let me know and you can swing by and mess around. I have the following you can test:

    Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 running 4.2
    Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 running 4.2
    Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 2014 edition, running 4.4
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 running windows 8.1
Every make and model iPad ever invented
HP touchpad running, Ubuntu, Android 4.2, WebOS
Kindle Fire HD (I use it as a coaster sometimes)

This isn't a touchscreen, but has backlit LED lighting. It's faster too. But the touchscreen is a selling point for me. So far, I'm liking it but I'd still go with my Acer.

Anyone know of a way to remotely manage iOS updates?

Apple configurator can only do it locally, and I can't seem to find the setting in OSX server.
