I am cutting today, but there shouldn't be any more to do on the body :p I would keep all the crap in tool bags I have collected and keep it secured.

Repainted the fuel cell, painted most of the bed area, cut off the mislocated shock mounts from the axle and trying to put new ones in. I added a D ring mount to the axle truss for the suck down winch.

I had to cut out the X from the spare tire area as it wasn't 'structurally ideal' where it was at, and it impeded the mounting of the sway bar anyway.

Got the wheels mounted to the tires yesterday. I tried doing it myself... anybody that thinks this is remotely possible is smoking crack. Ended up taking them to Discount. At any one time they had 2-3 employees trying to get each of the tires on. I would assume beadlocks are slightly smaller in diameter since the method of sealing the bead is different??

Unfortunately when I converted my wheel studs, it was easier to convert the metric on the rear to 9/16ths to match the front, rather than the other way around. It seems for some reason, everyone and their mother have decided not to supply 9/16th lug nuts anymore. Vato Zone could order some, but it was like $180! WTF! For ones in black it was like twice as much! Found some from Summit for <$50 though.:D

Also, I picked up (what should be) the last sticks of toobing for the build. :woot:

Weird you had problems mounting the tires. I mounted all 5 of my previous 39" BFGs in about an hour. Took roughly 10-15min per tire  Beadlocks still mount the same way (over the drop center side of the wheel which is over the outside, not over the back side) but you put one side of the tire over and the outer bead is then sandwiched by the outer beadlock plate. The old way of doing beadlocks is to cut the outer lip off of the rim and weld the inner beadlock ring to the rim so the tire goes over easier but the easiest and newest way to do it is welding the inner beadlock ring inside the outer lip of the rim so you don't have to cut the lip off. Hope that made some sort of sense haha. I got Summit brand lug nuts that were very reasonably priced. No problems so far with em

Here's the real question - how'd you get all four wheels and tires to and from discount in your fit? I'm picturing all four stacked on the roof. LOL

Edit - JK, just saw your post in WHYDTYTT thread.

Not really but you only have to get one bead over the rim. The outer bead is clamped. Do to the shape of the bead, the side you put on goes on easily, its the second bead that's the bitch to get on for a nonBL tire.
