Having had the misfortune of owning two Colorado's and the pleasure of owning two fine Tacomas' there's not a lot to worry about. However, Colorada appears to have made significant improvements but would take many years to build any kind of confidence in their product.

For some reason I have always had this view that hyundai is just a generic knockoff company. No idea why :notsure:

More pictures. Click for full-size. Notice a few more things:
    • GM builds the Colorado on the same line as the Express full-size van.
    • The assembly line trolley supports the truck by the frame, which means you are seeing the front suspension at full droop. Front suspension travel will be significantly less than the Taco's.
    • The exhaust crossover pipe protrudes below the frame... in front of the T-case crossmember.

Yes and the Canyon's taillights are like those cheap eBay ones...

The interiors will be very good as they are based on the full size. Also they are claiming the same quiet cabin. All I have to say is take it for a ride on the highway. The silverado is absurdly quiet....like silent.

That is not a cheap task to achieve.

The rear departure angle in stock form will be horrible. Note the spare tire hangs low enough to block the rear diff pumpkin:

Rear diff pumpkin is about the same size as the Taco's. Yes, the 4Runner spare is mounted a similar way. However, the Colorado's rear overhang is longer, so the tire should have been tucked higher like the Taco's.

Yep. My Sierra is dead silent. Not even a rustle of wind. Its amazing. Best truck I've ever owned. Makes my '12 Tacoma look like a Yugo in comparison

Only thing that I don't care for is the steps in the corners of the rear bumper.
Looks bad on the Silverado also.
