I have no desire to ever go to one just b/c of all the bros that I'm sure are there. I haven't seen Generation Iron yet, but I've seen Pumping Iron, which was freaking awesome!

There was definitely an annoying element to it all, the attitudes are just over the top.

That's exactly how I imagined it. It's like when you go to a bar and there's a boxing/UFC fight on; everyone automatically starts walking around with invisible lat syndrome and thinking they're the shit. My cousin wrestled at Indiana and does mma now and he was in Panama City last year and there were some dudes at a bar doing that and they started fucking with him b/c he's only 5'7" and like 150 lbs and he beat the fuck out of them haha. That's exactly why I never go out picking fights...that scrawny kid might whip your ass haha

    Upper B today:

    decline bench: 3 sets of 10 @ 225
    incline dumbbell press: 3 sets of 10 w/ 60, 55, 50 lb dumbbells
    wide-grip lat pull-down: 3 sets of 10, 8, 8 @ 205
    bent-over bb rows: 3 sets of 10 @ 95, 105, 105
    overhead db press: 3 sets of 10, 10, 9 w/ 60 lb dumbbells
    incline reverse flys: 3 sets of 10, 9, 8 w/ 25 lb dumbbells
incline db curls: 3 strict sets of 10 w/ 25 lb dumbbells
    dumbbell skull-crushers: 3 sets of 10, 10, 9 w/ 60 lb dumbbell

I read an article about using the db instead of the bar for skull-crushers and it made a HUGE difference. My triceps were screaming!

My lab partner in Bio owns a place here in Tempe called Honeybadger Crossfit. I'm really looking forward to it! If Goodyear wasn't so far I'd deff hit up a crossfit gym with you

It's so expensive, I do some stuff on my own. And it's kinda like a cult  haha Don't get me wrong I like the concept and a lot of the workouts but the "bonding" is a little much for me.

    Solo crossfit FTW!

I'm getting a homie hook up but the gyms that charge like 200+ a month I couldn't swing.

Yea, when I worked in a CF gym years ago, the membership fee was $100 a month. People thought that was insane. That was also before it went super mainstream. Now the gyms here are almost twice that.
I'd rather drop the $$$ on my own setup at that rate.

100+ a month for someone to tell you to do 200 pushups, 300 air squats, and 100 kipping pullups is not smart...haha
However it is genius by the people that own the business
